AutoCAD 2D TUTORIAL PREP.

edicengineering

I could let you in on a good number of things concerning AutoCAD drafting, but I'd rather share with you just a little secret to learning it effectively and being able to use it for your own benefit.

* Who is eligible to know this software?
All engineering students, practitioners and some environmental students related to engineering that do drafting work like Architects, building technologist, are very eligible.

* Do I need a tutor to learn; if am a beginner?
If you are a beginner it is most definite that you'd need a tutor to train you on AutoCAD; and by training, I mean training. Not just a flimsy romancing of the package and then you are left with almost nothing to pride about the knowledge of autoCAD.

* Are you currently training or you've been trained already?
It is very paramount for you to know that no matter how unique and perfect a tutor is, he/she cannot make you perfect it the use of AutoCAD; this goes to say that the major work is on you.

What I mean is this - When a good tutor empties himself to you to let you know what you need to know, you have to persist on that which is taught you through practice.

When I was trained in AutoCAD, my trainer tried his best to inculcate AutoCAD into me, but it seemed difficult, not that i wasn't understanding it, I did, but my work was never getting close to what his(my tutor) own work looked like. It bothered me for sometime.

Then I met an Engineer who to me to his sites most of the time, I worked with him and when he noticed I could draw with AutoCAD he started giving me work to do for him. Mind you at this moment my AutoCAD work was nothing to write-home-about.

I started doing the work, he gave me work to do one after another. The first came I did it and handed to him, [he wouldn't mind my mistakes]. He gave the second one, subsequently, third one, fourth one, fifth one and on and on.  But before the fifth one I had learnt a lot of things in AutoCAD that even my teacher did not teach me.
It therefore goes to say that practice makes perfect, and my drawing at this point have greatly improved.

I'LL TELL YOU MORE:
I BELIEVE THAT BY THE TIME I HAVE FULLY UPDATED THIS ARTICLE, IT WILL PROFIT YOU BEST THAN WHAT ANY TUTOR COULD EVER TELL YOU;
